Import from CSV

Upload a CSV file with your transactions. The file should include columns for date, amount, account, and description at minimum.

If your CSV doesn't have a budget_month column, all transactions will use this month or fall back to their transaction date month.

CSV Format Guide

Required columns:

  • date - Transaction date (YYYY-MM-DD or DD/MM/YY)
  • amount - Transaction amount (can include $ and commas)
  • account - Account name

Optional columns:

  • memo or description - Transaction description
  • allocation or category - Budget item allocation
  • budget_month - Which budget month to assign (YYYY-MM)

Example:
date,amount,account,memo,allocation

Budget Month Date Ranges

Set custom start and end dates for each budget month. Click a year to see months, then click a month to configure.

Tip: If you get paid mid-month, set your budget month to run from payday to payday (e.g., 15th Jan → 14th Feb)
